Skin Care Tips.

Wishing for a skin like theirs?

Wishing to wake up, look in the mirror, and truly think "I woke up like dis, flawless"?

Honestly, me too.
So I collected some tips for both of us! These are 100% garaunteed. BUT, you have to remember that not everything will work on your skin. Some tips are specifically for one type of skin and I will make sure you know which.

Let's get the tips started then :)

1. Admit that you're skin isn't perfect. Don't worry, even Kim Tae Hee had suffered from acne.

2. ALWAYS cleanse, tone, moisturize. Washing your face with a facial wash at least twice a day will keep it clean and will get rid of any access oils and dead skin. If you're not sure what a toner is used for; it's used after cleansing to get rid of dirt your cleanser had missed, and it also gives your skin a more radiant look! After that, you need to moisturize your skin, because -it might be just me- the toner leaves the skin feeling a bit dry. Again, it might be just my skin or dry skin in general. I personally recommend moisturizers that have SPF-15 in them because they protect your skin from the sun's UV rays.

3. Pre-cleanse. This tip is part of the ever-popular "double cleansing". Before cleansing/toning/moisturizing, most Koreans use cleansing oils to remove make up before actually washing their skin.

4. Exfoliate. using the facial scrub that works best for your skin -I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub-, get rid of any dead skin that might be a problem for the face. Only exfoliate a few times a week - like 2 to 3 times a week-, Koreans believe that less is always more. You don't want to irritate the skin! It's better to exfoliate after cleansing.

5. Essence! It's important to use an essence after cleansing. Essence helps improve the appearance of your skin: spots are less visible, appearance of wrinkles is reduced, skin texture is more refined, firmness is improved, and radiance is beautifully elevated. Skin becomes breathtakingly crystal clear!!! It's also important to use an essence that works best for your skin type; oily/combination/dry.

6. Ampoule. Ampoule is basically the Korean version of serum. It is substantially a genuinely concentrated serum. This ampoule resolves all skin problems like dulling skin, uneven skin tone, and loss of skin elasticity.

7. Eye cream. A thick eye cream like Etude House Nutrifull Shea Butter Eye Cream should be applied twice a day. Using your ring fingers, dab and pat – do not rub!

8. Facial Masks. Two words; FACIAL. MASKS. At least twice a week, apply the cottony paper thin, wet sheet mask. There are hundreds of different face masks for different purposes and skin types. DR. JART+ face masks are absolutely to swear by, as well as some of The Face Shop masks -I personally LOVVVVVE The Face Shop Real Nature Rice Mask, it's used for all skin types, brightens dull skin while moisturizing it-.

9. Night Cream. A night cream is a second layer of moisturizer applied to skin, this night cream or cream mask helps lock moisture in the skin throughout the night, so you wake up looking fresh and beautiful!

10. Beauty Sleep. This is something all Koreans swear by. Getting enough sleep really helps your skin in many ways. Instead of pulling an all-nighter watching Netflix or whatever kdrama is airing at the moment, and ending up with tired, saggy skin, and black circles or bags under your eyes, you can get your beauty sleep. It's real, free, and you can start TONIGHT!!! Not enough sleep can also make you more stressed, and everyone can see that tension. "It makes you look angry, tired, sad, and certainly older," says New York City dermatologist Doris Day, MD. source: WebMD.com

Well, well. This is going to be the end of this post.. *sobs*

I really hope this helped. Comment if you found this helpful or if you have any suggestions for others 😘

Until next time,
xoxo
